There is a tiny little secret garden on the edge of Devonport. A wonderful place, very quiet, with beautiful flowers along its fence, it gives a stunning view of the Auckland harbour and the Auckland Skyline. Certainly a hidden little gem in Devonport.

I took the photo on a Saturday afternoon. The colour contrast between the turquoise water, the green hedge with its pinkish flowers and the blue sky above is quite mesmerising.  It is a great spot which can entertain anybody interested in boats and yachts for a while, there is plenty of activity on the water.
