Hobson Bay is a lovely patch of nature between Parnell and Remuera, featuring a bay surrounded by mangrove forests. On its northern side it is flanked by train tracks and the southern coast lines are covered by mangroves. The bay edges on the Shore Road Reserve which is popular among dog owners and the Thomas Bloodworth Park, a popular cricket field.

The Hobson Bay walk way leads around the bay and is a great little walk for a long weekend afternoon.
