Hobson Bay Mangroves
I really like mangroves in the Hobson bay. I took the image above from the top of the wooden walkway, just next to the pedestrian crossing that leads down to the Orakei basin. The colour combination is stunning, the silver shining water in the background merging with the turquoise water in-between the olive greenish mangroves which set off visibly from the bright green plants in the foreground.
I walk along the Hobson bay walkway quite a bit, it does never really get boring. Especially changing tides and the different moods set by the smooth light of the golden hours, make it an always interesting photo spot.
