The Otuataua Stonefields in Mangere is a beautiful piece of coastal land. Green hills and fields as far as the eye can see, interrupted by fences, stone walls, small groups of trees and stones and rocks that cover the area. There are several tracks and walkways in the area as well as an avocado orchard.

A beautiful place to spend a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. The Otuataua Stonefields are even a worth visiting during light rain as it makes the grass even greener and brighter. The above photo of the Otuataua Stonefields was taken on a rainy day.
