I can´t help it. I have taken many photos of the rails that can be found throughout the Wynyard Quarter. There is somethign about them that makes me really happy. I think of all the goods they helped to transport from ships into the city center and vice-versa. The rusty brown-orange surface, slowly chipping away make them somehow special to me.

I usually take photos of the rails while lying on the ground, I love how the rails drag the eyes into the image, getting lost in the background of the scene. No matter how often I go to the Wynyard Quarter or how many photos I take there, I get never bored of it 🙂
