Luck struck this week!

Aucklife was lucky enough to be invited to go through the Weta Workshop- Unleashed ahead of its opening next week in Auckland. To be honest, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was happily surprised to step into a world; part film set and part workshop.

Our tour guide was more of a storyteller, and we instantly felt like characters in a magical creative world. I don’t want to give too much away, but I can say that it is definitely worth visiting with animated characters, splattered walls, fairies, and goblins. The atmosphere was fun and I happily joined in with some clay sculpture and attempts at making small trees for the set.

There’s something for both adults and children. As well as an excellent chance to tap into your imagination and get the creative juices flowing. Who knows what ideas it could spark with the young ones?
